Yard Operations Technician & Delivery Driver
Location: Columbia, SC
Pay: Starting at $17/hour + commission
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are hiring a Yard Operations Technician & Delivery Driver to take ownership of yard organization, materials management, and job site deliveries.

This is a hands-on role for someone who works independently, stays organized, and takes pride in doing things right.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain organization of yard inventory, materials, and equipment
  • Receive, stage, and track incoming deliveries
  • Prepare and verify materials for upcoming job sites
  • Deliver materials safely and on time
  • Operate forklift, bobcat, and trailers
  • Maintain vehicles and equipment readiness
  • Identify inventory shortages proactively
  • Keep yard clean, safe, and job-ready

What This Role Requires

  • Strong personal discipline and reliability
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Physical stamina and comfort working outdoors

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Age 21+
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs regularly
  • Experience operating forklift, bobcat, and pulling trailers
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Welding or fabrication
  • Fence or construction materials experience
  • Skilled with hand and power tools
